Living on Campus
|
At Duquesne University, freshman and sophomore students are required to either live on campus or with their parents or guardians. National studies demonstrate that campus residency positively affects academic performance, satisfaction with faculty and a greater willingness to re-enroll. Nearly 90% of new Duquesne students lived on campus in 2008.
The Living Learning Centers (LLCs) were designed to create environments that are conducive to helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. Within the LLCs, a highly-trained staff of full-time, live-in Resident Directors, live-in Graduate Assistants and live-in Resident Assistants are available 24 hours a day to assist students.
