Anthony Istik

Hello! Welcome to Duquesne! My name is Anthony Istik, and I'm one of the Programming Chairs for Orientation 2009! I am a Senior Secondary Math and Education Teacher, and I'm so excited to be a part of your Orientation! I am very involved in campus, participating in Orientation, DUSEA, Duquesne Program Council, Future Teachers of Mathematics, and Alumni Ambassadors. Duquesne is really like a second home to me, and I know it will be to you as well! I can't wait for you all to join the Duquesne Family. Steve Schmidt

Hello, and welcome to the Duquesne Family! My name is Steven Schmidt and I am a Junior Music Education major in the Mary Pappert School of Music. I am a Pittsburgh native and I hope you will enjoy the city as much as I do! This will be my second year with the Orientation Program, serving as the Programming Chair this year. I am involved with other campus activities including, an honor society, the Executive Board for MENC (Music Educators National Conference), and a choir member for the Voices of Spirit. I hope you are looking forward to one of the greatest experiences of your life! I cannot wait to begin your journey with you here at Duquesne, welcome to the family!
