Hello and Welcome to Duquesne University! My name is Jacob George and I am a Parent/Transfer/Adult Learner Co-Chair for Orientation 2009. I am a junior majoring in Communications and Theater Arts, with a minor in Political Science, and I am originally from Kittanning, Pennsylvania.
Besides Orientation, I am actively involved with theatrical groups and
honor societies. I hope you are having a great summer and excited to

Lauren Winkelman
Hi, my name is Lauren Winkelman and I'm one of the Parent/Transfer/ Adult Learner chairs for Duquesne's 2009 Orientation. I am a senior Public Relations and Advertising major, with a minor in Sociology and Intercultural Studies focus in African culture. I love being a part of the Duquesne family and am trying to make the most of my time here on campus. Aside from Orientation, I am an active member of PRSSA, Campus Ministry, Cultural Ambassadors, Red and Blue Crew, and several honor societies. Although I am originally from York, Pennsylvania, I have loved every minute of my time here in the city and think of it as my second home. I know you will come to love everyone at Duquesne as much as I do, and I can't wait to welcome you into our community in the Fall - see you soon!
