Note: Exams will last 20 minutes, can be taken at any point during this time period

Students enrolled in the McAnulty College of Liberal Arts and School of Education working on Spanish Certification need to take the Language Placement Exam if continuing the same languages as taken in high school

Self Guided Tours

Meet University Officials and Orientation Staff stationed across campus to give you more information about buildings, activities, and everything you want to know about Duquesne.

1:15 - 2:15 p.m.

Resident Assistant/Commuter Assistant Meetings

2:45 - 4:00 p.m.

Matriculation Ceremony

Join the Duquesne University faculty and staff in the A.J. Palumbo Center as we officially welcome you into our Duquesne Family at our formal Matriculation Ceremony, a University Tradition.
Appropriate attire - gentlemen: shirt and tie; ladies: dress, skirt, or dress pants

4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Team Meeting #1, Dinner and Guided Campus Tours

Meet your Team Leaders, upperclassmen who will guide you and a group of your peers throughout the week. Optional guided tours will be available for interested students following dinner.

7:30 - 8:30 p.m.

An Evening with the Tamburitzans

Come to the A.J. Palumbo Center to enjoy a performance by Duquesne’s own “Tammies,” the world-renowned Eastern European dance troupe.

9:00 - 11:30 p.m.

Graffiti Dance

Grab a marker, donated by the Office of Greek Life and your white t-shirt, donated by the Office of Admissions, and sign the night away in the Union Ballroom!
